Tikkun BBQ Community Cookout

Tikkun BBQ is throwing a community cookout on the open streets! We'll be there with free books alongside Astoria Woodworkers Collective, Morefully, Queens Rugby, and more! There will also be raffles, food, drinks, and music! Click here for more info.

Queens Solidarity Fest

We're spending the day at Rainey Park alongside Queens Liberation Project, Angry Papaya, Abolition Library Commons, and more! Food, performances, activities, workshops, and, of course, free books!!

Queer Book Swap at Dave’s Lesbian Bar Pop-Up

The Rolling Library will be at every Dave's Lesbian Bar pop-up with free books that feature LGBTQ+ stories and/or authors. We're also accepting donations of queer books at each event (but only queer books). The October pop-up will be held on the open streets in front of Let Love Inn.

Halloween on the Open Streets

Free Books with Amazon Labor Union

We may hate Amazon but we fully support the effort of Amazon Labor Union! We're tabling with them on Staten Island to hand out free books about unionizing, organizing, labor, and more.

Car Free Earth Day

Join us on the 34th Avenue Open Streets in Jackson Heights for a Car Free Earth Day celebration with lots of family-friendly and environmental-focused activities. We'll be there with tons of free books for you to take! The open streets are 60th to 94th streets; we'll be located between 80th and 81st.
