Free Queer Book Fair on 31st Avenue

Our second annual Free Pride Book Fair will take place on June 5th, 2-7pm, on 31st Avenue Open Streets (between 34th and 35th streets). We’ll have free LGBTQIA books (of all genres, for all ages), coloring and activity spaces for kids, zine-making, collaging, and other workshops. There will also be tables from All About Rabbits Rescue, Astoria Cat Rescue, Astoria Woodworkers Collective, I’m Finna Talk, The People’s Bodega, Tom’s Pet Supply, and more!

We are only accepting book donations of queer books.

The event—and all of our books—is 100% free! However, if you have the means, we do ask that you bring a donation to Astoria Food Pantry: unopened and unexpired food (especially cooking oil, diapers, menstrual products, cereal, coffee, etc.)
